ok finally I found the button.. it is :drum roll: in the "New Email" window?! omg. ok great that was not that obvious (for me). Now as I found it: It gets the job done as expected. thanks! a quick hint in the addon description where to find that button would be helpful though

A real great tool. The only thing preventing me from donating is that I can't re-plan a popped up reminder. I mean you can edit planned reminders but only until the due date. When that is reached it is shown in the popup box but you cannot re-schedule it which is so much necessary for me..
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.9.4).AttachmentExtractor

First of all THANKS ! I started using AE today and really like it and it's settings and features. Really great work!
And detaching after processing the attachments is such a MEGA great feature THANKS!
I use it on Ubuntu 14.04 and discovered a little problem:
A thing which was a little bit annoying is that folder permissions goes wrong when you use #folder# / #etc...etc# in the file name pattern.
The result should be: ~/Email-AT/inbox/bla.jpg
When I start the detaching progress AE will create the folder fine but it will be created with folder permissions read and execute (rw) only. Then AE tries to write the attachments and that fails of course because there is no execute/change into that folder permission ("x" permission in linux terms)!
I fixing this by setting the folder permissions manually after the failure and then restart the process.
I would really like to see an updated version where the above is fixed and the experimental internal detachment parts going to stable. Then we go for the fifth star in the review ;)
Thanks

... you should mention my above title somewhere! Because it is the perfect replacement for Microsofts Outlook Quick Steps!
THANK YOU ! THANK YOU ! THANK YOU ! THANK YOU ! THANK YOU ! THANK YOU ! THANK YOU !
I create as normal a thunderbird filter and to be sure that this filter will be shown ALWAYS with this addon I add a condition which will ALWAYS met like "If *subject* *is NOT* *23746237467823647823674*".
The result is I will get all those created filters as an choose able option for every message.
This way I can move messages, tag, change read state etc.
The same way Outlook quick steps offers..

At the moment your button will be displayed in the message menu bar only. It would be FANTASTIC if you could make it possible to add this button to the "normal" menu bar, too!!
This should be very easy hopefully to add and it would make it not such better only but then it will be 100 % replacement to Outlook's Quick Steps.
If you add this you will make the addon better and you will get the fifth star, too!! ;o)
