Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
At first I wasn't quite sure exactly how this worked, so I'll explain it in very simple terms.
You just right-click on your Adblock Plus icon and click on the new option "Select Element To Hide" (or use the keyboard shortcut). You then get a red box that forms around different elements (very specific portions of the page) as you hover your mouse over them. You select what you never want to see again and the add-on automatically generates a new filter rule. Click on the "Add Filter Rule" button, and you make the internet a happier place =)
Simple as that!! The first thing I got rid of was the friend suggester on facebook (it's ALWAYS annoyed me!!).
This works great! I can't wait to get rid of more annoying crap!!!

Nice!! I love Bing's results for image searches, and this saves me a click! I was looking at the CyberSearch add-on and I don't see why it's any better than a well stocked library of search engines.
As soon as CyberSearch adds keywords for every single search engine that firefox offers (and the ability to dis/enable them) I might go to that and delete my searchbar altogether. ....until then.....

It makes the internets and the googles behave like they should!! lol
Instead of clicking next page, next page, next page... I just keep scrolling and scrolling until I'm done reading a long story or choosing the best result from a search engine etc.. I don't know why sites aren't designed to do this all the time in any browser. This is the way the internet 'should' work by default. I highly recommend an app similar to "Yet Another Smooth Scrolling 2.0.20" to be able to deal with the long pages that can be created by this app. There are some Page Up/Down and Top/Bottom buttons included in each pagebreak that help too (but
Other than a little green loading tab reminding me that it's doing it's job, I could easily forget that this add-on was ever installed...until I use another browser or computer!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP =D
