Nice. Saves time not having to use Config Editor.
Thanks for developing!

Love the features but using Grouping (which I love) seems to mess up the unread counts on Unified Folders. With 2 unread in a folder, the Unified Folder label shows "Inbox (3)" as it seems to include the Grouping label as an unread message. Once those 2 are read, it shows "Inbox (1)" until you click another folder and then re-click the unified Inbox then it goes to "Inbox" as it should.

Finally a way to set the normal list view as default again.

You would think that this would be built in, but it has been neglected by the TB team for a while now. The only thing that would make this better is to be able to reset to the sort order on all folders default after changing it.
Great Addon for a missing feature though!

Nice! You can make these adjustments through the preferences editor, but this is way better. The only problem is that it ought allow adjustment of the threaded/unthreaded default too.

Should be installed before you add new accounts or lots of new folders.

Verändert die Standardsortierung für neue(!) Ordner. Dieses Add-On sollte also installiert und eingestellt werden, bevor man neue Konten oder viele Ordner anlegt.

It does exactly what it says - which is great. Being able to override the settings for previously viewed folders would be wonderful - but I'll settle for at least this default.
The next item I'd really like would be to specify the default for columns. I DON'T USE thread, star, or junk - so I've got to go through every flippin' folder and change it!

Works well in TB 3.1 once I tweaked the version limitation and is a much needed feature as I have 50+ folders and to have to sort them manually one by one is incredibly irritating without your add-on.
But I still have to sort by threaded view, so if you could be so kind and add a threaded/non-threaded switch as well that would be great.

I agree with TiagoTiago. I'd very much like to sort via sender (ascending) and then by date (descending), so I can get the most recent email first from an author, and then the second most from the same author, and then the third most. Haven't figured out a way to do this easily without running a search for the particular author and then sorting by date.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1).Thanks for using and downloading the addon. It's really not doing anything other than giving you an easier way to change the default sorting preferences. Features like secondary sorting are way outside its scope; if you'd like to see such a feature change, please file a new feature request in Bugzilla.

this addon is a must for me, thanks a lot!
What I'd like to have is also possibility to have
Grouped by Sort/Threaded/Unthreaded, as everytime I change sort criteria (not via this extension but clicking on any column header), grouping is forgotten and I need to set it manually again.

it would be better if it allowed more than jsut primary field, having secondary (and more if possible) would be great
