Edit Email Subject (EES)
Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
As Mark B said: March 17, 2025
It sort-of works, but...1. It takes a long time to work, and the dialog doesn't close itself. 2. You end up with TWO COPIES of the email, the original, and the one with the new Subject. 3. It does NOT move the original email into your LOCAL folders
So I do a multistep workaround, because yes, it's INDISPENSABLE.
1. Set it running
2. go to EEs folder (which for me is in a different account!)
3. move new version to desired folder
4. stop the running change (because it will NEVER stop by itself
5. delete the original

Great for dealing with subject lines, but it's suddenly stopped functioning. I'm still on Tbird version 115.5.1

Thanks a million. I was feeling helpless since 68 launched last month, because, as we've all noticed, some people use useless subject lines, and when you're organizing a big conference (or even a small one)...Yikes!
It should, of course, be standard in T-bird.
One of the previous add-on developers said they couldn't continue to update this, since the payment had been minimal and it just wasn't worth their time. Absolutely.
I'm ready to pay for this invaluable add-on. But I see you don't have a "Contribute" button.
