Tuta Calendar
Puntuado con 2 de 5 estrellas
The add-on works okay, but it has major drawbacks that make it tedious to use:
1. It doesn't remember your log-in credentials, so you have to log in every single time you start Thunderbird.
2. It doesn't allow you to use Passkeys or FIDO2/U2F keys. Only TOTP is supported as a second factor by the add-on.
3. Due to Thunderbird's UI (a search bar, a tab bar and a URL bar stacked vertically), the add-on's viewport is not tall enough. This means that the month's calendar does not show me any coloured labels at all, but only indicators like “+1” or “+2” for each day that has an event. This makes the month view practically useless, because I have to click on every single day individually in order to see what events there are. A calendar full of “+1” is rubbish.
Furthermore, the calendar add-on is actually equivalent to the full Tuta web app, instead of being limited to the actual calendar. I want the add-on to remember my credentials, but only to use them for the calendar. If the add-on ever remembered my credentials, it would make me uncomfortable to know that anyone who opens Thunderbird could read my Tuta e-mails through the Tuta calendar add-on. If I really wanted to access my Tuta e-mails in Thunderbird, I would use the Tuta Mail add-on for that.
