Happy that I could get rid of that after upgrading to Seamonkey 2.0. It was of no use at all. Tried to use FlashGot.

Its impossible to use on common web pages like Spiegel Online. When I try to get a download this plug-in registeres only the 3 commercial ads but not the main video file.
At second, the link to the user forum
http://vietnewsonline.com/phonglu/forum.php
leads to error 404.
At 3rd, I did not find a help file where I could get information how to get rid of AMB.

This is a really good extension for firefox but it needs to be update it don't work at all on version 3.5. I've used this extension for a while it's really good I'd like to still use it can you please update it thank you

It's a bit misleading to say that it can can graps "pretty much all [media] file extensions". I was hoping for it to dig the .flv/etc out of the swf connection, as does Video Download Helper (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006) but it seems to not do that. Downloading the .swf file is largely useless as far as I can tell.

As PeanutFR said, and though it is written that it is, AMB 0.27 is not compatible with FF 3.0.9.
That's a pity, it seemed to be a great plugin

Took me a while until I sussed this out but that is no fault of the creator. This is a brilliant addon that I use very frequently. I was getting annoyed with video not being fullscreen on some sites and then i clicked the amazing media browser icon and loaded the page up in about 2 seconds, in FULL screen! A must addon for movie enthusiasts. 5*

for vids and other media i prefer Magic's Video Downloader..
It isnt straight forward in it's layout to help you figure out how to download the stuff on the links... i sat a few minutes thinking it'll just save the link.. not the actual content.. so that was a bit confusing for me..
howeverrrr this is a wonderful tool for flash games and what not... i found a great spelling game for my students and our school doesnt have internet in every class so this was a great way to get around that..

Good add-on. I used it for years, but ver 0.26 on Fx3.0Final crashes my browser on some sites. For example: uefa.com, gross.lv.

This media browser is well put and organize...only thing it needs more is more active users in the "community" tab

I loaded this in order to quickly get all chapters of an audiobook which had a separate file for each chapter. The links (mp3s) don't even show up in AMB. Thought it might be a preference or an option but I couldn't find one. I'm no novice; if I miss it it's not in an obvious place. I'm not impressed with the extension but I'll gladly retry it if changes are made.

I always have some problems trying view media on sites. Especially at truthdig.com, their "A/V Booth." Using AMB I clicked a link to a video; opened AMB page, manually added the A/V web address, to see the link to youtube. On the bottom panel AMB: 'This is a special link that cannot be previewed in AMB. Please click the "Download Link" button to save it.'
AMB seems like a lot of work (sic) for results I can get much easier with UnPlug. I gave it a '3' because no doubt it has some great uses for some people but for myself I am uninstalling and will keep using UnPlug.
