The perfect solution for having events available for sharing!
Your mates can scan them right off your screen.
I was using this to easily transport the QRcode of my jazz concerts to the posters each month.
Such a pity i cannot do this anymore.
Please, Mozilla team, help Harald to update his work!

Fantastic! I can't belive this isn't part of the Core or at least a permanently recommended AddOn!
My dearest wish would be to also have Categories (as e.g. the AddOns 'MoreFunctionsForAddressbook' and 'SoGo' add these) displayed and editable. To reuse the multiple choice form field code of Firefox' bookmarks would be most elegant, i guess?
Second, i often want to have a temporal sorting (think of "latest" or "recently active") at hand. For the first, CardDAVs 'last time edited' timestamp of each contact comes in handy.
(The latter need more work, including some requests for conversation statistics...)

Toll! Ich kann es jedem Smartphone-Benutzer empfehlen, besonders da es ohne Neustart auskommt.
Anregung:
- eine Option, die Beschreibung aus dem QR-code wegzulassen oder zu kürzen, um Riesencodes zu vermeiden.
- Auch Kontakte zu QR-Codes machen können.
Great! i can recommend this to any smart hpone user, especially since this can be de-/activated without restart.
Wishlist:
- Option to share without description (or with truncated description)
- Also feature QR codes in the address book for transferring contacts.

I definitely don't want to live without an Adblocker,
and i appreciate there's an alternative to AdBlockPlus.
However, it should be stated that

It's super that still people care about the usability of Thunderbird and this does indeed help.But as long as these tags are not returned to the IMAP-server, it's only half-baked bread.OpenExchange's flags should definitely grow to work in sync with Thunderbird tags!

What about ThunderLinks withIn Lightning Calendars? Why choose the long way when the good things are so close?
Maybe i don't get it. When Lightning is installed, ThunderLInks should be clickable within Calendars and Tasks, too.
As an important step, the current "conversion" menu option (which copies the email's body) should be overloaded by Thunderbird-Linking.
Halfway usable so far... sorry!

Da sollte noch ein Mausklick eingespart werden, nachdem man den Server angegeben hat. Ansonsten erfüllt diese kleine Erweiterung eine wichtige Funktion, um Lightning für CalDAV-Kalender wieder breitere Akzeptanz zu verschaffen.

Sollte seit 2006 genau so im Core gestanden haben!
Wie oft habe ich Suche nach Adresse, Filterung nach Stadt und vor allem Suche in mehreren Adressbüchern gleichzeitig vermisst!
Doch die Kontakte-Verwaltung wird wahrscheinlich sowieso z.Zt. grundlegend erneuert.
Darf ich's hoffen?

Unbelievable that it took until 2012 for another heroic plugin author to come up with it.
(Sorry, Philipp Kewisch, but your year view was outdated long ago)
Year view shows the necessity of continuous display of multiday events (Bug 199732, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=199732).
Unfortunately, i have to say that it takes ages to load a year's data from my servers and render the view. All in all this proofs once more the destiny of the thunderbird project altogether. Not only the codebase, but the whole idea of a communication client needs a complete redesign.

Das ist sowas von optimal, man glaubt es kaum.
Andersherum wäre es jedoch NOCH geiler: Man klickt auf die Telefonnummern *im Adressbuch*, und die Fritzbox wählt,
(analog zu dem AddOn ->SIPgateFFX)
Außerdem: Was ist mit anderen Routern (zB. All die bedauernswerten Netcologne-Kunden mit ihren Sphairon(=Netconnect)-Routern)?

I miss a word or two on the add-on in detail - where has this functionality been in the last ten years and why is it not part of mozilla core? Where is Mozilla Sync for Thunderbird??
