Mail Merge P

Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas

This used to work until a few weeks ago, now I get the following error in the developer console:

NS_ERROR_XPC_CANT_MODIFY_PROP_ON_WN: Cannot modify properties of a WrappedNative

Apparently, the plug-in only worked up through Thunderbird v78 or so, and a fix is expected this winter.

The need to hit Enter when adding email address place holder is not obvious, nor is the reason why sometimes Nunkucks works and sometimes Legacy parsing works for a message. But overall, when it's working, it's pretty good.

This add-on helps one cope with Google's on-going attempt to muck up it's SSO system. In the past, services would auto-detect which Google Apps or generic Google account profile to use based on the URL. Now many non-mail services require manual selection of the available cookies/profiles. I decided to try this add-on to cope with Google's next step: flattening of Google Apps profiles and services into the generic space, which prevents the use of more than one profile at a time. Although this add-on allows one to have multiple profiles loaded, the mechanism for doing so is awkward to say the least. Right-click the tab of a site where you have multiple accounts and select the wordy option "Open in a new identity profile." The result is that rather than the expected creation of a new tab (or perhaps window) at the same URL but sans cookies... awaiting for one to login, the tab is detached and a #'d box is appended to the address bar. If one had previously created a new profile in this number, it is not loaded by default, the original view is displayed until one manually reloads. There seems to be no other way to access alternate profiles e.g; Tools submenu; and there are no preferences to control any of this behavior.
