Used the Addon version before this and I wouldn't run TB without it.
Next time I'm forced to upgrade Tbird, I'll be looking for a different email program.
Mail toolbar buttons won't appear though (on Win7, I tested TB 60-60.9.1 32/64bit). Ended up using CompactHeader to move the buttons to the side... I think the icons are too large for the tool bar height so they don't appear.
(View -> Toolbars -> Customize) as explained in the description does not do anything.

Thank you. Makes TB 31 tolerable.
Recommend you use "Rise of the Tools" with this (although it would be nice to see something similar integrated."
