In our company we have been using this addon for over six months now and we cannot estimate how useful this addon is. We have never experienced duplicate contacts. In fact we set up quite an elaborate system to ensure that all contacts are not only synchronized between thunderbird and gmail, but also between users. Works perfectly. The only slight annoyance is the "unresponsive script" message that users saw from time to time. However disabling this message resolved this problem and the sync works perfectly. We have made our donation to the cause and look forward to future releases.
