wondering how often do developers read their mail or reviews here?
money is withdrawn from the card very quickly, right at 7-00 !!! but to answer the question why they removed for the same mailing address TWO TIMES and return one payment back for more than a day no feedback

Für E-Mails ein gutes Plugin, was gut funktioniert und schnell und sicher einzurichten ist, um das leidige Thema Exchange-Server und Thunderbird zu verbinden. Auch das Adressbuch funktioniert soweit reibungslos.

Für den Kalender trifft dies leider nicht zu: Hier tritt immer noch das leidige Problem mit Zusagen zu Terminanfragen auf: Entweder es gibt den Fehler 80004005 und der Termin wird nicht zugesagt oder es klappt und man wird gleich Organisator. Das ist leider äußerst unschön, da der ursprüngliche Organisator den Termin nicht mehr bearbeiten kann und vor allem auch nicht mehr absagen kann. Auch landen die ganzen Zu- und Absagen dann bei mir. Mein Support-Requests vom Januar und Juli 2020 (!) wurden bis heute dazu nicht beantwortet. Ich gehe davon aus, dass dieser Bug wohl nicht behoben wird. Von daher ist das für Leute, die auf den Kalender angewiesen sind, nicht brauchbar. Schade.

Hi LordSnyder, the second part sounds really bad. That should not happen. We are looking into this with high urgency.

Sorry that you didn't get a reply last year. We respond to most support requests now. Could you please send another support ticket, with a link to this review, so that I have a way to contact you? Once we have a potential fix, we might want to send you a beta version. I have no way to contact you here on this site. :-(

Works exactly as expected, including push notifications when EWS authentication is used. Good support received from the developers when I had a question. Recommended.

I've been wanting to merge my Fastmail and Outlook calendars on Thunderbird, but I haven't been able to do so because Outlook doesn't support CalDAV.

I'm glad I found this add-on because now I can have both my calendars in one place!

It does what it says on the box. It set up and gave me quick and easy access to my email from O365.

I had some performance issues with server side folders other than my inbox not pre-emptively downloading. I was happy to find calendar support - though it's apparently beta and I had an issue with it not updating a changed instance of a recurring meeting.

I sent the devs an email and they said there's some settings that could possibly fix my perf issue w folders, and they're looking into the calendar bug, but since our admins enabled Oauth2 with IMAP I just switched to that. Since I just bought it, the developer issued me a refund for my trouble!

So, yeah, you may have to dig into the settings if you have a complex setup, but I'd encourage anyone needing Exchange support to give this a try.

This tool saved me" It gets me right to company mail in a wink and back. I before that would have to Login Citrix start the desktop and then Outlook just to see who send a note.

Decent enough product.
I've yet to find a way to subscribe to shared folders or shared calenders though, so somewhat middling.

Neither shared folders nor shared calendars are promised features. Please see the feature description here and on https://www.beonex.com/owl/ for the expected feature set.

Tip: For shared folders, go to OWA, add the folder there, and restart Thunderbird.

Add-on läuft einwandfrei und stabil unter Windows 10 und Linux - auch mit EWS als Protokoll und Pushnachrichten.
Server: Exchange 2016.
Jeden Cent der Lizenz wert!

Add-on works fine on Windows 10 and Linux - even with EWS as protocol. Push messages works fine, too. Our company-server is Exchange 2016. Licence is worth every cent. A must have add-on for Exchange-users.

Works good if you only have one email account, but if you need Owl for more then one address, it doesn't work. I have multiple licenses for my company, so that is not the issue.

Update - Works great after using EWS on the other accounts. Sorry for the inconvenience.

This is a limitation of the Microsoft protocol, not of Owl itself.
You can try to set up the account using EWS in the Owl settings. EWS allows several accounts at the same time.

I am expierencing a wierd thing, that happens since I upgraded to latest version: When accepting an invite, I am getting and error "Bearbeiten der Nachricht fehlgeschlagen. Status: 80004005."

If I can do more, to find the source of this error, contact me :-)

It worked well and I used it almost year until my company turned ON multifactor authorization. After that, addon was unable do login. When i contacted plugin support, nobody answered me. So i decided to stop renewing license.

Answers to dev:
- recreated account and changed auth type to OWL.
woah! Now it works. Great. Hate outlook.

I do really like this addon as it is the only option for me since my company enabled MFA. I can understand other reviewers that problems are annoying but developer reacts quickly. With the version 0.7.7.5 I do not see disappearing of emails anymore.

What I would consider being a developer of this addon is to create a community realm (Slack, forum, Github/Gitlab account without source but with issue tracker and releases etc) because that would be much more transparent for users and even the issues could be reported publicly and transparently.

I use Tbird 68.10.0 & Owl 0.7.7.4 on Linux, and often the Inbox is empty blank. I click an other folder the problem temporarily improves.

I'm running Tbird 78.6.1 and Owl 0.7.7.4. My Inbox is still suddenly going blank. When I click on another folder (drafts, sent, etc) they populate the list as normal and when I go back to the Inbox it is back to normal. After what seems like a variable length of time (30 to 120 seconds) the list of messages goes blank. Even a message opened in its own tab goes away!

0.7.7.5 was released within what seems like minutes of my "review". The developer also responded to an email to support the same day. Like someone I heard say recently "Who Does That!"

All is well with this release and my rating is now 5 Stars.

Dankeschön. Mit Version 7.7.4 sind die Probleme mit der Anzeige des Posteingangs behoben. Auch das Problem mit den Doubletten bei den Kalendereinträgen ist verschwunden, die Synchronisation funktioniert.

UPDATE: I sent my error console information to the developer, as requested, and they released a new version later that day. I've been on 0.7.7.5 since yesterday, and so far, my inbox has stopped going blank. Thanks to beonex for being responsive.

Previous review: After updating to 0.7.7.2, all the messages disappeared from my inbox. To see them, I had to switch to another folder and back. As soon as I scroll, they disappear again. Invites from calendar keep coming in but I cannot dismiss them. I saw your response to another user, and updated to 0.7.7.3. I am still having the same problem.

I have some issues with the latest version of Chouette for Exchange (0.7.7.2) updated today.

* Messages from my inbox disappear regularly. I have to swith to another folder and go back to see them again.
* I’m now unable to turn off alerts when they prompt
