It was working great, and then suddenly stopped working on 2020-02-12. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it several times but it still won't work. Thunderbird 68.4.2 (32-bit)

It started working again, I'm happy.

Added it to Thunderbird 60.5.0 and it did nothing at all

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.7).

Have you tried to right click on the main toolbar and then choose "Customize"? Then you can move the buttons you want to the left of the first tab.

Without customizing this extension does nothing.

Useful tool, simple is better.

Thanks for providing the option to move buttons right before the tabs. But is there a way to show the actual hamburger menu symbol with the three horizontal lines instead of the big blue Thunderbird button?

EDIT: Amazing, thanks for the quick update! Really appreciated!

I've uploaded now version 1.4 which has an option to disable the blue button.

I really like the add-on, however, is there a possibility we can have an option to change the button style. On my box the button is enormous when placed on the left.

I guess we can just use userChrome...

Hi Morcas

Yes, userChrome is possible. You can write me, see the email link on Add-ons page. Then we can look what code is needed.

Just like what I wanted, to style and place the Thunderbird app menu button the same way as Firefox's.

Sad that Mozilla abandoned active development of the TB features, or else sooner or later this would be default in a new TB version.

Thank you!

Super, genau dass was ich schon lange gesucht habe!

Jetzt fehlt nur noch ein frisches ADD-on, welches die Status-Bar als Toolbar nutzbar macht.

Super, just that I've been looking for!

Now it only needs a fresh ADD-on, which makes the status bar available as a toolbar.

Allows you to place any movable object in the top left corner. I love it!

there's no button (TB 17.0.2) and can't find anything in toolbar buttons menu. Even tried it as the only installed add-on.

works excellent now :)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).

This Add-on adds no button. In customize mode (right click on toolbar and select Customize) you should now see before the first tab a rectangle. Here you can move the AppButton ( ≡ ), or every other button, to this place. After ending the customize mode the AppButton changes to the style on the screenshots.

I hope this helps to understand my extension a little better.

Works great!
Helps for TB17 to add the new AppMenu in front of the tabs-bar permanently.
(see also bug "Appmenu" should permanently appear on "tabs-toolbar" https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=795602)
