Works perfectly, Mozilla dev team should inspire from this add-on because it's a little bit stupid...

All e-mailprograms should have a passwordprotection (personal keycode) built within. Thunderbird is simply the best. Love it - and besides - works perfect together with Gmail and IMAP activated.

Now we only wait for Thunderbird addressbook to get a sync-function, so it automatically syncs the addressbook with (for example) Gmails online addressbook. In waiting for that, the add-on "Zindus" is a good complement (even though it only sync e-mail- and phoneposts of the addressbook) I still give Zindus 4 of 5. Very good.

When I came across this, I suddenly felt a little better for when I travel with my laptop. Another layer of protection. I imagine it would also be handy for those that live with snoopy people.

Works great in 3.1!

Before, a password prompt would pop up, then the TB window would cover it, then another password prompt would pop up. I'd have to type in the password, minimize the TB window, and type in the password again. Horrible! Now I don't have to, thanks very much!

You are my hero! Sometimes when restarting after updating extensions I'd not only get the prompt multiple times but it would come up and steal focus while I was still typing. Thanks for solving my #1 FF annoyance.

Oddly enough, the Mozilla Team haven't solved this bug yet, and fortunately this addon solves it perfectly!
No more entering my long master password multiple times, thanks a lot!

A lot of people here have given bad rating and reviews just because they don't even know what a master password is. Please, abstain from rating and reviewing if you don't even understand what this addon is for.

После танцев с бубном, понял как отменить запрос пароля. :)
Нужно в настройках прописать старый пароль, а новый не писать. После этого можно и удалить дополнение, если нужно. Оставлю на всякий случай:)
After dancing with a tambourine, understood as change your password. :)
It should be configured to register the old password and new not to write. Then you can add and remove, if necessary. I leave just in case :)

This addon works perfectly and does exactly what it says on the tin so I can't understand the bad reviews and complains.

This addon fixed a bug in Firefox that quite frankly shouldn't exist. If I restart firefox it used to ask for the master password for every tab I had open requiring a password. Very annoying. With this addon, I get asked once and only once.

Thank You.

Still not bad. It can be easily bypassed by starting in the Safe mode (as the preference window suggests) but this brings essential functionality to the browser and so far the best option around. I like to have the same browser at several places while maintaining privacy and turning off unwanted attempts to start the program and see what I've been doing online. Wish you could add some more security to the add-on. Overall, it's great.

Not impressed. When this add-on is disabled and even after it's removed, I still get bugged with the same prompt every time. Annoying.
