The big flaw is that the results are not completely in English, but a mix of English and the the base page language of whatever country you are in. It would be better for the entire page to be in English. If I am looking for results in English, I expect Everything to be in English, especially if I have no ability in a foreign language. I'd still need a translator, which defeats the purpose of this add-on. Please fix this.

Finally! Thanks for this add-on, I prefer this a lot over the default country specific setting that comes with FF. No more tweaking the about:config and google.xml. Great add-on. 5 stars.

Simple, easy and worked immediately. Did just what it says it does. No more extra clicks to get to google.com from other languages. Free at last.

I travel for a living, and am in other countries about 20 days a month. This extension works perfectly. The couple people who left negative reviews for this (much appreciated and useful) extension are morons. This extension does exactly what it claims. Thank you!!!

I think Everyone should rate this 5 STARS, because it does exactly what it says. If you are in the US, it is pointless to use this, but if you are traveling outside of the US, "google.com" automatically becomes google in the country you are in, and you have to change it. If you hate cookies like I do [eliminate them on exit], your preferences won't be saved, and you need to change to Google in English every time. If you don't, you will get too many search results in different languages.

I'm not sure what portuguesemike is talking about. I tried his search that he posted and refers to, but I like this one more because I can distinguish the difference between the normal Google search and the English one, by the icon. His has the same icon so it is more confusing. The search results were the same every time for both search engines.

As for people who leave bad reviews, when they don't use the program... stop wasting people's time. If I listened to you I would never have tried this. Only leave bad reviews if the program has bugs, does not do what the description says, or is lacking, but not if you don't want to use it.

This add-on does what it is meant to. It returns English results. It does, however and therefore, work in the same way as a country specific add-on would work, limiting the scope of your search in the same way that using 'Google.fr' will preferably return French results by default. Since I travel a bit, I tended to get redirected to the local country-specific Google site when using the default engine in Firefox. What i actually wanted was an add-on that would produce the same effect as clicking on the "Go to Google.com" link on localized Google sites, keeping the interface English but not restricting the search results. There is now an add-on that does just that, so I'll be using the other one. but thanks for the contribution, many will find it very useful.

This is fabulous! I'm stuck in France and haven't learned the language yet. This allows my search box to automatically google in English!

For some reason picking English in the Firefox preferences did not fix the problem. But this add on does! THANK YOU!

I think this add-on is disgusting. This is because it allows only the Google US centric searches, and here in Australia, we don't need reams of US sites ahead of our local information. I won't be using this one until I can base it on the google.com.au site.

Google is already listed why would I use this? Besides it has additional ads and some tracking of my searches. I would not recommend this plug-in.
