Adblock Edge
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This add on is not necessary. ABP already permits users to block non-intrusive ads. ABP is very straightforward on this advising that the add on is configurable. ABP tells you itself:
"But I hate all ads!
"No problem, you can disable this feature at any time. To do so:
"On Firefox: click the Adblock Plus icon and choose Filter Preferences from the menu. Uncheck "Allow non-intrusive advertising" and you are done. "
Forecastbar Enhanced

A must have extension.
If I go to 4.0 I lose this extension that has always worked AND I lose the status bar, where I keep the Forecastbar and other icons. If I didn't like the clutter of the statusbar, I would hide it until mouseover by using the stylish style, "statusbar: mouseover for cluttter". Wait a minute... I do use that style. How hard is that. Now with 4.0 no statusbar and while Status-for-evar has come to the rescue, it simply is not enough.
Extension Manager Extended
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Useful if you want to go into the files for extensions and make changes, e.g. such as changing install.rdf max version number so extensions work in newer versions, removing locales other than the one you are in (for me, en), etc. And, useful when a new version of thunderbird comes out. You can check the version numbers that the extensions work with. Why upgrade if your extensions won't work?
Speaking of which, Extension Manager Extended says it works with 3.1, but the max version in the install.rdf is only 3.0 as of today, November 1, 2010.
Forecastfox Weather
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
The bad - very limited options.
The good - great concept for changing options, simple web page design with click for settings.
On the other hand, Forecastbar Enhanced has many variables several with subvariables. You can display as you see fit, including showing text for current day, icon only for today's forecast and extended forecast. You can set what information you need to see for current, today or forecast and all can be different. You can save profiles externally. Forecastbar Enhanced method of changing variables is not difficult, and allows you to highly customize the information you are looking for (maybe only the temp and wind speed), but one missed letter in keying in the variable and it won't show.
Would like to see all of Forecastbar Enhanced options in Forecastfox. The method of changing the settings would be perfect.
Forecastbar Enhanced may not have been updated in more than 2 years, but works great.
