RefControl
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Yikes, even changing the options of other add-ons took a long time so long as this one was installed. Also what I was really hoping for was the ability to blacklist the "from" site from sending the referrer. For example I don't want google to send the referrer (especially the search terms!) when I follow a result link (I can't find a way to do this other than to use https google).

Rated 2 out of 5 stars
This was a great addon, but it breaks bookmarking in recent versions of Firefox (15 & probably many others). I even made a brand new empty profile with *only* this single addon (no conflicts possible) and it still won't put up the bookmark editing dialog. A bookmark gets set but no dialog to edit it. See the Support site -- this issue has been open for 7 months without comment from the developer.
Is there anyone out there who can please make a new version of this addon that doesn't break bookmarking?
Minimize On Start and Close
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is better than minimize-to-tray because with minimize-to-tray we always have to look in 2 places to see whether we have firefox windows: the taskbar and the system tray. Mac OS-X made a combined bar and windows 7 (& vista) partly followed suit.
It would be nice if we had the option to allow us to close any windows normally *except the last remaining window* which would normally cause us to exit.
Another thing I'd love to see is a Restart-on-Close. When you close all your windows and firefox would normally exit, this is a perfect time to Restart firefox and when it comes back up I'd want it to start minimized so in effect it looks like you've simply minimized it but in fact it restarted first. The benefit is that it clears out unneeded memory from firefox and it often runs more smoothly than if you've been keeping it running continuously. It should be the session-preserving restart like the one offered by the add-on manager (or by justin Ƨullivan's "Restart Firefox" addon but not most others), so it preserves tabs and also session cookies, etc.
Togglify Add-on Toggler
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It's good to have a way to toggle "restartless" addons off-and-on, on the fly without having to go to the addons manager page. This add-on creates a separate toggle button for each such add-on that you have, and you can drag some (or all) of these to a toolbar using "Customize". If you have a lot of addons it sort of clutters-up the Customize Toolbar button collection that you drag from. And if you drag more than a couple of them then it might clutter up your toolbar, too. Maybe better would be a button with a dropdown menu of add-ons that you can toggle. Or a submenu of the firefox main app button.

Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I really like Launchy. I would *really* like it if there were a way to configure it to launch a particular external app for a link by default or by some combination of shift/ctrl/alt, rather than always having to navigate the context menu of a link.
Or at the very least there should be a a letter to select launchy within the context menu so i don't have to use my mouse.
