Unfortunately doesn't work with 132.0. Okay, this ist beta, but I want to use it. Hoping for an update coming soon.

pour ma part, même la dernière mise à jour ne fonctionne pas avec Thunderbird 128 (freeze le logiciel si activée) ....

This plugin is mostly good. However, it doesn't know how to dismiss notifications for events that are not owned by me. Like, if someone sends me an invitation for an event, I will never be able to dismiss the event once the notification time has passed. The only way to stop being bothered in the future is if I go into my Google calendar web UI and delete the event from there.

Using TB 115.12.2 and Provider 115.3.0, I noticed that I could not dismiss (all) reminders of past agenda meetings. The buttons "dimiss" and "dismiss all" do nothing when clicked. I verified by right clicking the Google Agenda and choosing Properties that "Read only" was disabled.
With every restart of TB these reminders would show up. That became REALLY annoying.
The cause for this could be that the Provider extension is unable to change properties of past agenda meetings. I noticed that in a past meeting, I could not delete attendants or change the title of the meeting. Maybe this also prevents shutting up these reminders.
What worked is right-clicking the Google agenda and deselecting "show reminders" eventually worked for me.

In reply to Knight Rider,,, Thunderbirds native CalDAV does not support Google Calendar's tasks. Those requiring their Tasks in Thunderbird need this "invasive" add-on.... Which works well.

I have constan issues with the time zones. Every event I save, after a while the event move one hour in the schedule. I have lost important meetings because of this.

Reading the calendar is no issue, but most updates to appointment fail to register, reminders get stuck if you're not the organiser and invitees get their invites struck when the reminder shows. A big disappointment.

I use another extension instead and it works great: GCalTab. This stopped working correctly.

Works fine for me, but has one major downside that makes the plugin unusable: authentication to google must be renewed each time Thunderbird launches, which is a major pain. In simpler terms, the user is required to login to their google account each time thunderbird is opened. There is no reason whatsoever why the authentication to google could not be stored and re-used after the initial configuration. Poor design.

Unable to dismiss past events. As a workaround, I have to open the web calendar and dismiss it. There is a git issue opened for this.

Unreliable, has hardly ever worked for me.

Thanks for your add on. It works when Thunderbird just start or add a event on Thunderbird, it will sync into google calendar. However, it can't syn from google calendar back to Thunderbird. I believe something wrong in the write function. If I turn off the display the missing calendar, some event can't dismiss.

Seems useful, but very unreliable.
Changes on google calendar side causes it to go into a loop, either force the local changes back into google calendar, or you stay in the infinite loop (you click discard, and it keeps popping up making thunderbird unusable).

As many others have mentioned, this extension no longer syncs unless you restart Thunderbird. It's a shame because it used to be great. I don't know what's going on with the developer, but either this problem is out of his hands or he is no longer updating the extension. Either way, it's a shame.

has been working perfectly, always reliable.

So useful, but so unreliable.
Synchronization is made sometimes, for some items. A calendar has to be reliable. This is not the case with this add-on. And it is really a pity :(

Sync only occurs when restarting Thunderbird. Manually sync also does not work.
Thunderbird Supernova version 115.7.0 (64-bits), add-on version 115.0.2.
As a workaround I use the "Open Google Calendar" add-on (opens Google Calendar in a new tab).
