Mail Summaries
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I was simply looking for a plug-in to count the number of mails in IMAP accounts. Mail Summaries exceeds this simple need by providing a real upgrade to the T-bird user experience making really good use of the account splash page. Looks like this could be the beginning of a series of useful pages for each account. Installing it on all my PCs Linux/Win7/Mac-OSX right away.

Still a great space saving extension and works fine in Thunderbird 8 on Windows and Linux if you tweak the install.rdf file packed in the .xpi installer file. Update the maxVersion line to <em:maxVersion>8.*</em:maxVersion>
I use muCommander to easily edit inside the .xpi package.

This is the best version of the 2D Themes so far, which works well with a minimal top bar in conjunction with AiOS tool bar and Tiny Menu. Perfect for NetBook screen sizes and anyone who hates the usual clutter of tool bars. Only 1 thing not yet working are the icons in the Add Ons dialog. The image files are probably missing. Otherwise this is my current theme of choice for Linux, Windows and Mac FF3.5.
