QuickFolders (Tabbed Folders)
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This add-on is indispensable for anyone using Thunderbird as their primary email client. The main feature, the folder tabs, make perfect sense as an organizing paradigm, The continued maintenance and development of the add-on is first rate. Highly recommended.

QuickFolders keeps getting better and better. QuikFolders provides an invaluable alternative view into your mail folder structure. People who use mail seriously invariably end up with myriad storage folders in a complex tree hierarchy; and that hierarchy and the Tree view are indispensable. But navigating a complex tree structure over and over, to the same deeply located folders, can be tiring. It's repetitive, and can be laborious. QuickFolders provides the missing UI element, a system of visible graphical shortcuts to the folders you choose, using the ubiquitous and widely understood tab metaphor. And, QuickFolders helps rationalize your folder organization tree and its major branches, by providing a top level category organization. You can create slices into the virtual mail database represented by your folders and folder tree, but creating QuickFolder categories, and assigning them to chosen QuickFolder shortcut tabs. QuickFolders is well maintained, consistently updated, always fixed. It keeps up with the TBird updates, and always works.I recommend QuickFolders, and hope to see it continue to be maintained across operating systems. Really, a great tool. A great add-on.

Thanks for this. It's a necessary add-on, to restore an obvious needed base functionality....
This feature really should be restored to the base product, but since it's not currently included, this add-on is vital.
The only reason I don't give this four or five stars is that it seems that the user must activate folder content columns after the 3.x upgrade wizard installs the add-on. No problem for me, but not obvious for the lay user.
