doesn't work with current Thunderbird versions. Will you update the plugin?

This is a tiny but perfect tools for people using aliases.
I use aliases without "+" extension, with fake name that are redirected to the real identity.
So I have disable the need of "+" and it works!
Thanks !!!

I have been waiting forever for this! YES, '+' is a valid character for an email address.
Thank you so much!

Thank you - I use a catch-all email domain, and this is perfect for replying back with a wide variety of email addresses within that domain without having to set up individual aliases! I very much appreciate the setting to not require the '+' as I don't use that, so thank you for releasing v1.1 :)

Why requiring a "+" in the recipient address ?? Almost nobody has a recipient address with a "+".
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).Hi, this addon was made to fulfill the wishes of a single user I saw on IRC. GMail (and probably other services) route emails sent to e.g. user123+foobar@gmail.com to user123@gmail.com.
GMail doesn't allow you to send emails as user123+foobar@gmail.com, but some services do. This extension is for people using services that do.
What's your use case? Feel free to checkout out https://blog.qiqitori.com/?p=194 or https://github.com/qiqitori/reply_as_original_recipient to see if any other branches (1.1, 1.2) address your needs.

I installed the beta version from your blog, thank you so much, it is working perfectly. Please consider making the beta version a real update so I dont have to sideload it.. :)

This add on looks perfect!
I have a bunch of aliases. Unfortunately none of them has a +.
Can you make the + an option?
Hello, thank you for your interest. I couldn't contact you anywhere else so I'm just going to contact you here.
I've added the requested feature, but if you could maybe test to see if it works the way you had imagined, that would be great! I added a link to the 1.1 beta version at http://blog.qiqitori.com/?p=194
After installing it, change extensions.replyasoriginalrecipient.use_plus to false in Thunderbird's config editor. If you notice any problems, let me know.

Thanks @Qiqitori for creating this great add-on! It is helpful in the case that you can use dynamic aliases (the "+" syntax, like me+something@myemail.com) like with mailbox.org, so now when I reply to an email that I received to an alias address, that address is also used as the senders address for the reply.
Does not work when there are multiple receipients in the original mail, but you might ask the dev for that, he's a great guy.
