Working for me in 37.0.1. Don't forget to go to add-ons > options to configure the output. Need to go to his site and pick up the latest version, which he says is good "up to FF 11.9.x", but like I said, it seems to be working fine for me in FF 37.

I would like to see how this works but it is not yet compatible with FF 4.0 and TB 3.1.9.

The latest version available at the developers web site works fine on TB 3.1.6.
Customizable date format is terrific.
Great little add on. Thanks

Thanks for this useful extension. Especially like the customization options on the date & time. I downloaded current version from your site. In general, why are so many current versions of extensions not here on the mozilla site & reviewed so users can be comfortable there's no malware & no 'obvious' conflicts to FF & other extensions?Timestamp is working great everywhere I tested EXCEPT in the 1 place I most wanted to use it: the text area in the site note created by the NoTea extension:https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/197363/
I experimented a bit & I can use the Menu Editor extension to move (there's no copy function) your insert Timestamp entry from the context menu to the edit menu on the top bar. From there it is visible & pastes into NoTea. Could you possibly add an option for Insert Timestamp to have a second entry into the Edit menu? Thanks!

This 'WAS' a VG extension But you have to keep it Updated to keep working with FF!
So When are you going to update it to work with the latest FF versions???
Why donate to your cause if you can't keep your FF Extension Updated...

This is a great utility, but with the newer version of firefox I wasn't able to use it.. so I updated the installer script and installed.. now timestamp works.. Please use at your own risk - i haven' tested every scenario...

Nice idea, but not worth the problems. Finally discovering it was the culprit re: not being able to use mail filtering (no drop down list) and TB freeze every time tried this option. After a long process of disabling, unstalling, restarting, rebooting and dealing with this as a TB bug I finally figured out it was TimeStamp.

This extension allows you to quickly and simply add a timestamp to a form in Firefox. The user customisable options are great, and there are 18 different options, and you can mix as many of those 18 together as you want, giving you fill control of what the output will be.
Some quite slight problems I have with it are a] the fact that there is no "st", "nd", "rd" etc, after the number in a date - it's Monday 1 January, not Monday 1st January, and b] that if there is only a single numeral in the date, a double space is added - Monday 1 January, as opposed to Monday 1 January.
Another feature I'd like to see if the option to have multiple dates/times/combinations set up.
Overall, this plugin is a real help to me, and I would strongly recommend that anyone who thinks they might get some usage from it. It certainly saves me a lot of time.

Using FX, I am only able to use this extension in a form field from the context menu. I would like to use this in the body of a Gmail message.
