My Reviews
Saved Password Editor
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
At first I had trouble figuring out how to use this on sites that don't want to remember passwords (you have to use the "Guess from current page" feature for saving a NEW password , then when you click twice in the Username log in field for the site you want to log in to, it will come up).
Now that I have been hacked I am using stronger passwords and this is great for helping me remember them or pre-filling the username and password for me on sites like Chase bank that Firefox refused to remember!
So well worth downloading if you have a lot of passwords that Firefox won't remember, and once you use it and like it throw a few bucks (at least!) to the Developer so he can continue to do his magic!

Maybe I am missing the point or maybe I'm too dumb to figure this out. (Usually I can figure software out very easily, especially simple add-ons).
I thought the idea of this was to use it to add saved passwords to sites that otherwise will not allow you to save them. I wanted to use this for Chase bank (which I hate by the way) which will not remember my password even though it constantly requires me to change it.
So I pull up the Saved Passwords add-on from my Tools menu and fill out the form with the web site url and username and password... and it does nothing.
If someone can tell me how to make this work I'll revise my review to 5 stars but so far I cannot get it to work after trying several times. And if it's not working because I haven't used it right, then it obviously needs to come with more specific instructions and examples. But my guess is it just does not work with some web sites.
