I was looking for which of my ~20 installed addons are not compatible with multiprocess, and this was one of the two, so I just came here to write this, but stumbled upon ZimM comment on memory consumption, and can confirm this is indeed the case: even on fresh start when all tabs are suspended and only one active, I get ~27-30% memory consumption increase with this addon (from 980 MB to 1250 MB, yeah, that's with a lot of tabs, but they are suspended). Other than that, this addon is nice to have, but I've disabled it for now.
