My Reviews
Messenger - Quick Access
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
None of these addons that open Messenger in a tab work ever since FB changed their app from Metro to web based. Impossible to sign in for whatever reason. FB only works in proper browsers now. Thanks a bunch Zuckerberg.

EDIT: It's been years since I last used TB regularly so my initial review of this was tainted by lack of knowledge of the way TB works more recently. I did not realize every built in tab's toolbar can now be customized separately, which is why I didn't at first see the button for this addon. My apologies to the devs.
Okay, so right away you should know I'm only giving one star to catch the attention of the developer. This is a great addon to help consolidate everything important to me into one application. The ONLY reason for the one star is due to unclear instructions on how to use it. Normally a good addon will instantly create an obvious way to use it like a new button. This does that, but it took me nearly twenty minutes of farting around before I finally figured out the "TWT" button ONLY displays if the MAIL tab is selected. I wouldn't have had to waste twenty minutes of my time had the description specified this little tidbit of information. Either fix the button so it's always visible (the correct way) or at least explain it in your description. Thanks for a great addon otherwise.

Meh. As with all browser tabs in TB once you're logged into one Google account, you can't add other accounts because all it does it open a blank page that goes nowhere. Without that these little buttons are worthless.

It appears the Fahrenheit issue others complained of has been fixed but unless you live in a major city this thing is completely useless. It is impossible to set for a small town away from major metropolis and it can't find zip codes despite what the web site claims. I don't understand why this is even on the extensions list.

WebApp Tabs
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
All I wanted was an addon to open my custom web app in a TB tab. It's a specialized task list/ project manager so having it in TB makes the most logical sense. Every other addon I tried for this didn't work properly at all. This one did, first time, with no fuss and no muss. Thank you!!!

Tried to use this to run a custom web app from my own server. Loaded the app fine, but every time I clicked a link within the app to actually use it, it opened my browser. Kinda defeats the purpose. Webapp Tabs worked flawlessly with no fuss.

This addon shouldn't even be able to be installed in TB 52. It's a mess. Opens only the the read pane, NOT tabs, messes up the layout if you change anything there at all, and the options can't even be changed. Click Okay - nothing happens at all.
Provider for Google Calendar
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Too many issues. Caldav works better than anything now anyway. Don't bother with addons. They aren't necessary anymore. Google how to make it work. It's stable and works flawlessly for both your personal calendars and shared. Tip: Simply add each calendars Caldav address and sign into your OWN account each calendar is shared with. VOILA! They all show up and sync without fanfare.

This is nothing more than Google calendar the same as it is in any browser. I use Thunderbird expressly because it allows me to manage email on or offline. This is just the web page moved into TB and will not load if you are offline. Caldav is the only useful way to deal with Google Calendars in TB.
