Edit Bookmark Plus
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Ever since the demise of OpenBook, I've been struggling with the tiny Add Bookmark dialog box and Edit Bookmark Plus seems to fit the bill.
However, when saving a new bookmark, it always jumps to the "Unsorted bookmarks" folder instead of to the last opened location which becomes a bit irritating after a while.
It's still an improvement on the default Firefox bookmarks menu, but needs to more work to iron out the kinks.
Thumbnail Zoom Plus
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Not only does the add-on work with the sites the developer listed, but by checkmarking the "Thumbnails" field in the setup options, it will enlarge images on news media sites such as BBCNews which aren't even thumbnails to begin with. It even adds the image description to the enlarged version even if that's not actually visible in the original. In fact, I've yet to find a site where it doesn't work.
This is truly an excellent add-on which is well worth adding to your repertoire.
Youtube MP3 Podcaster
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Beats all the Youtube audio extractors I've used until now. It doesn't link to a third party site as many others do and performs the conversion to mp3 from within the application itself.
I also like the Scissors utility which allows you to edit where the audio is extracted from. Anyone who has listened to Moby - "Mistake" will know that the video runs for 14 seconds without any audio before the track begins. The Scissors utility allows you to cut that blank part out altogether which is great!
YouTube 2 MP3

The site this add-on links to now requires Java to be installed to extract the audio from a YT video. This is a pity because Java is an application which is continually targeted by attackers and users run unnecessary risks by installing it. Therefore, I cannot recommend it anymore.

Links to a third party online conversion site called "video2mp3" which launches immediately when you click the "Save as mp3" button. No time limit imposed by that site, but it is ad supported, so make sure you've got "Adblock Plus" installed otherwise you'll be drowned in ads.
Download YouTube Videos as MP4
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The button works just fine on the new Youtube layout provided it's the general channel. If you can't see it, delete the Youtube cookie and clear the cache.
However, it is missing in on any user's channel. I sent you a screenshot ialc.
CookieSafe

Just as a matter of interest, why has the name of the developer changed? CS was developed by someone called Ron Beckman according to Wikipedia, not "csdev". Also, why does the "Updated" field still show January 27, 2009 if CS has been updated recently to work with FF4?

Yes, I can confirm what others have already said namely that it doesn't work with FF4.
Actually, I was a bit surprised that it suddenly enabled itself today after being disabled during the FF upgrade. I thought there was supposed to be some sort of notification from Mozilla that an update had become available rather than the Add-on being able to enable itself. Could be a security issue there.
For the time being, I've switched to using Tony Schilling's "Cookie Monster 1.0.5" which works more or less the same way as CookieSafe did in case that's of any use to anyone.
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
