Email crawler was an amazing add-on. Unfortunatly was abandoned and it's for a long time no more compatible with actual version of TB. So usefull and time saver.

By the way it's a shame that thunderbird did not included what it was abble to do in Thunderbird himself ! would be such some killer features... (maybee someone read me and make my wishes come true).

Even if it's way not as complete, found an add-on that did a part of his job, which is copy all the selectioned senders email adresses, from a list or a folder, and copy them in a new message.... huge time save.

the add-on is called "copy adress" and make the job pretty well, thanx to the creator.

this addon is absolutely critical for me.
to be honest, the main reason i work with TB.
I used to install its version 5.1.2 with TB 60 but after updating my TB to latest version 68.3.1 it stopped working with lots of other add ons even after disabling the compatibility check features in the config section.
I suppose that our dear TB developers team have to find a new solution or even seriously think about adding this addon feature as a main feature of this program without need to install any plugin

This Add-On is outrages!!!! Saves you a lot of time.
for those of you who struggle in compability with the recent firefox.

Just get a stand alone old version of TB 3.1 and do your job there. Saves you a lot of time. Then export the List and import in the newest Version of TB.

On my thunderbird 60.7.0 (32 bit) it is working in this manner:

To install in TB 60, you may have to first open Tools/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor and double-click the preference extensions.strictCompatibility to false, OK to close Options.

Hi!
I have only just tested this add-on (in TB52), but it seems to solve the serious limitations of "EmailPicky 4" - The fact that it will not collect addresses that are already in any existing address book...
(It seems to be simply another version of the same software.)
Beside this, there is "tb_email_grabber 1.3", but it will only collect 'senders'. So it's not very useful.
All 3 add-ons work up to ver. TB52.*, but not in TB60.

This app saved me a ton of time converting from Outlook to Thunderbird 60.3.2 (32-bit), except for one thing. Many last names have a single or double-quote after the name. To solve this, I exported to CSV, removed them, renamed the CSV file and imported to a new (fixed) list. If I can help with any debugging effort, let me know! And thanks again for a great utility.

I am transfering e-mail (pop3 account) from one pc to another. I accidentally erased the address book , so this tool is quite good to collect e-mail adresses from the e-mails. Many thanks!

I want to hereby express my support of the wish of us all and thereby the catch on your side of this information - that the users of your extension are hoping that you may have the time for and enjoyment of writing an upgrade to make it compatible with latest Thunderbird.

Your addon is the only one I could find that allows a person to gather addresses together from a folder. I hope that it is upgraded to work with the latest versions of Thunderbird soon.
