Since when a couple of months ago Man-in-the-Middle solutions were reported being retailed to government for injecting sneak code into streaming, I've deleted all Adobe from the home LAN. Have to say, with the wonderful FlashGot hooking down youtube files, I haven't missed Flash for a second. Everything ends up on youtube, so even stupid 30 second cat videos don't need to be streamed these days.
Best side effect = no local contention getting complained about because - - derr, nobody is sitting watching streams buffering. Win for the admin!

After testing 3 of the top-rated download interrogators for 2 weeks, over the range of media provided by .edu and .gov sites - but also including the popular open publishers like youtube, FlashGot is my choice for best integration with various download managers and for best interrogation of media links.

You'd be nuts to use any other extension for the job.
