The colors in this Persona are the 4 colors used in Woodland Pattern Camouflage. This 4 color pattern was developed in 1948 at the Engineer Research & Development Laboratory at Fort Belvoir in Virginia, and was later revisited for use in the Vietnam War.
Variations on the Woodland pattern have been used by United States Army Soldiers, Marine Corps, Air Force Airmen, Navy Sailors, Navy SEALS and Navy Seabees,. Some law enforcement and SWAT teams still the original Woodland Pattern..
When I created this Woodland pattern variation, I was especially remembering people, many of them my age, who fought in the jungles of Vietnam. I knew one vet who fought there and eventually passed away due in part to Agent Orange complications. A sincere thank you to him and to all of our country's veterans for your sacrifices and love for this country. c0l1
