my major problem was installing vers 68 without a cleanup of the "old" version 60. Desinstallation and a complet new setup in addition to the work arround solved all problems.

Vers. 68.0 requires Google access data (login) with every change/access to the calendar. The work arround has no effect.
I will step back to Vers. 60 because this worked very sufficiend for several years.
