ok i've set the config in tb. but in firefox, does ur addon only changes 1000 to 200 once & if firefox is reinstalled & the new update modifies the install delay to something else, your addon wouldn't detect & reset it to 200 i guess, would it ? if it wouldn't, then i'll just add 200 to firefox's config as well & uninstall the addon since its just a config.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.1-signed.1-signed).  This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.

I use the addon myself. Reinstalling or updating Firefox will not affect it.

You are free to just change the setting manually if you'd like. But I will point out that I also change another setting to make it where Greasemonkey addons have no delay. I change extensions.greasemonkey.installDelay to 0 instead of 5.

Sweet. Comes in handy when you need to install a bunch of add-ons and don't want to wait.

This should be the first add on anyone installs.

It's easy to do this without add on. After installing it you can actually delete it because it doesn't do anything anymore. You can just go to about:config and change security.dialog_enable_delay to 0. That's it. No need to install an add on. It would be handy if you could tweak many things with this add on, not only the waiting time. So you don't need to go to about:config for everything. But there's only this feature you can easily do yourself.

That's in the description. And, no, you can't delete it, because it will change the setting back.

This is a single purpose addon designed to replace another single purpose addon that was never updated.

Look, I'm not really a dev, so I have no reason to be nice to you. If you can't be bothered to read the description, don't leave a review.

This add-on's sole purpose is to disable a security fix. That being said, I hate the stinkin' delay and missed MR TECH's add-on when I moved to FF5.

So I thank you for the add-on. Recommend everyone to never use this add-on as it introduces a security problem. And I give the add-on 5 stars because it just does what it does without a problem.

If I could, I'd give it six stars, the extra star for being a restartless add-on.

works fine

I don't have I problem using "About:config" but clicking "install" for this was easier than searching for how to safely do it with about:config

its also possible to change this setting in "About:config" without addon !

I acknowledged that in the description. But some people would rather have an addon, apparently. People have been complaining about MRTech's extension not working in Firefox 4, so obviously not everyone wants to edit their about:config.
