User Agent Switcher by chrispederick
160 users
The User Agent Switcher extension adds a menu and a toolbar button to switch the user agent of a browser.
Collector's Note Allows your browser to pretend to be another browser by sending a fake User-Agent string to web servers. Occasionally necessary for sites that, for whatever reason, don't like the sight of Firefox (or browsers that aren't "approved") but actually work okay (or if you're just desperate to get something out of them). Thankfully, the practice is getting quite rare these days (or maybe Firefox is just so much more popular).
Password Exporter by Justin Scott (fligtar), Jorge Villalobos
85 users
This add-on allows you to export your saved passwords and disabled login hosts using XML or CSV files that can be imported later.
Note: This add-on won't work in Firefox 57. It may eventually if the APIs to access passwords are implemented.
Collector's Note A useful way to copy your passwords from one profile to another, as an alternative to copying the database files. Also useful for backing up the database.
Session Manager by Michael Kraft
151 users
Session Manager saves and restores the state of all or some windows - either when you want it or automatically at startup and after crashes. It can also automatically save the state of open windows individually.
Collector's Note Is restoring the last session after a crash not enough? Session Manager stores multiple sessions both automatically and by request and allows them to be loaded later; each session has its own set of windows and tabs. You can even maintain multiple sessions and switch between them (though I don't think they're updated automatically), which makes this extension almost a natural complement to multiple profiles. Profiles = virtual identities; sessions = browsing states.
HttpFox by Martin Theimer
19 users
An HTTP analyzer addon for Firefox
Collector's Note An occasionally useful extension for tracing the HTTP requests and responses that occur while loading a web page, etc.
Image Zoom by Jason Adams
176 users
Adds zoom and rotation functionality for images...
Collector's Note A nice little utility for zooming and rotating images in the page. I originally used Optimoz's Mouse Gestures for the task, but this does a better job and is much more focused and lightweight.
