I am using TBird 115.12.2.

When this AddOn works it is great but often I get a message that says "Unable to upload xxx file to box." It seems that sometimes it is certain file names though I have not been able to figure it out. If I go directly to my box account the file uploads fine.

Also, almost every time there is an update to TBird, it breaks the link and I have to go to under attachments and delete the box account and reestablish it.

It sure would be nice if you got the bugs out. Thank you.

This addon really needs an update. *PLEASE* ;)

It just works for a set of files to upload. Next time, upload is not possible any more. :( So you have to remove account definition and add it again for the next couple of files. And so on and so on and so on... :(

If a file already exists in box, it just returns an error...

Also upload-directory should be configurable.

Not working on TB102.

The One-Time Password is never accepted (returned as invalid).
And yes, when I login on box.com via a browser, the 2FA is accepted, so NOT invalid.

Can't login to Box, captcha is blocking and keeps loading forever (normal browsers work well)

Can confirm the previsous review for box:

Unreliable. Once the Box-connection is added, any upload works only once. All consecutive uploads quit with the error msg:
Upload Error - Unable to upload file xyz to Box.

You either have to restart Thunderbird or re-inititate the connection (i.e. delete the old one and add a new connection).

A good piece of fileLink Provider!

I've been using this from the old days... yet it still remain. Thank you for develop such good extension!

Works on 102.6 on Fedora 37 XFCE Spin Linux

Unreliable. Often reports "unable to upload", need to restart Thunderbird. But for larger files, sometimes even that doesn't help and it simply refuses to upload. Sometimes it also says "unable to upload", doesn't create a link, but when I look in Box, the file is uploaded. Thus: unreliable.

Doesn't work with Thunderbird 102 any more. :-(

It does what it does - but provides too little feedback about why something fails.
e.g. I am resending the same large file. It is still in BOX - so, I would love to either receive the existing link.
HOWEVER: imho, even better would be a choice to force overwrite (and get a new link) or use an existing link.

Thx - in any case!

p.s. - my resolution was to remove the old file and re-link to get the link for the mail.

Had no issues, works as expected. Though it should explain to the user how to stop sharing the file.

(you can stop sharing by logging into your box account, going to the "Thunderbird" folder, and deleting the file)

I've been using this add-on for a couple of years, and it has worked well thus far. I just wish there was a setting to delete linked files after a set time (60 days, maybe). Otherwise, I have to remember to remove the files if I want to save space in Box. But, overall this is a great add-on.

Works great, when it works. Having a problem with the extension timing out. If we have Thunderbird open for a few hours and try to link a file we get an error. If we quit the app and do everything the same, it uploads the second time. (same files, same email as we save it as a draft before quitting).
