When I came across Excel2Mail in November 2025, I was very enthusiastic about it. But now, after the last update, it has unfortunately become completely useless: Instead of only showing those lines in Excel tables which are supposed to be visible (and are visible in print), ALL lines are shown and the layout is devastated. Very sad development! I must go back to my old workaround and first paste into Calc and then take it from there into Thunderbird so the layout is preserved.

After last update, it pastes tabel and text without "frame" below tabel and it puts all together into one big tabel. I mean that although the frame for cells with text is not seen now it is pasted with frame being seen.

All was fine before last update.

Would please share screenshot what exact happened after paste ?

Hi, thanks for the extension! Solved our problem, but is it possible to paste with the borders together? When we paste from Excel now, all the formatting is intact except the border of the table. Would be great if the border setting can be pasted together as well because Thunderbird makes it quite a hassle to add back the border for every table.

Edit: The borders were my own issue with usercontent.css I fixed it and the borders are being pasted too. Thanks!

Hi, Thanks for your review. Could you please explain a issue in details which you are facing while pasting excel table into thunderbird? because its pasting table as itis with borders also. If possible please share your data pasted screenshot to abhi.kd@zoho.com
Also tell us Thunderbird version which you are using.
