Ich habe gerade das Add-On in Betrieb genommen und bin sehr glücklich, wie reibungslos alles funktioniert.
Sowohl der Kalender als auch der Taskmanager lassen sich auf allen meinen Geräten (WIN, iOS, Android) problemlos bi- bzw. tri-direktional betreiben. Aktualisierungen erfolgen an meinem Glasfaseranschluss mit kaum wahrnehmbarer Verzögerung. Performance-Einbußen konnte ich bei Thunderbird nicht wahrnehmen. Alles super!
Ach ja, eine Schwierigkeit habe ich doch noch. Ich habe keine Möglichkeit gefunden, wiederkehrende Aufgaben
(z.B. 1x pro Woche) mit dem Add-On einzutragen. Vielleicht habe ich etwas übersehen?
Daher "nur" 4 Sterne für diese ansonsten tolle Arbeit.
PS. Thunderbird Portable 147.0 unter Windows 11

Bei mir funktioniert es, allerdings habe ich Thunderbird ressourcen-technisch gar nicht gemerkt, jetzt beeinträchtigt es das System regelmäßig.
Thunderbird selbst ist auch deutlich träger geworden.
Außer diesem Plugin habe ich nichts weiteres installiert.

L'invitation d'une personne à une réunion ne fonctionne pas, donc je n'utilise plus cet add-on, c'est dommage, car il était très pratique.

Donated with my last comment but rely on this add-on. My calendar is always up to date as I enter everything on my smart phone and it syncs to Thunderbird. Would not be without. Thanks for the updates.

Danke @pemue88 für den Hinweis. Ergänzend noch die Info: Wenn man eine andere als eine Gmail-Adresse für sein Google-Konto nutzt, muss man bei Adresse "google.com" eingeben.
And now for everybody who doesn't understand German:
Thunderbird 141 supports Google Calendar without the add-on: Add "New Calendar" -> select "On the Network" -> enter your Gmail address as the username (leave the "Address" field blank) and click "Search Calendar." If you use an e-mail address other than gmail you need to enter "google.com" in the address field.

Great extension, very useful !
Version 128.5.7 actually *IS* compatible with TB 141.
It just says it is not, probably because it has not been tested yet by the developer.
You can still make it work, at your own risk :
download the xpi file, change its extension from .xpi to .zip
Extract and edit manifest.json from this standard zip archive
Update in this file the "strict_max_version" field
Save, replace in the zip file
Change the archive extension back to .xpi
Install this file from the extensions manager

One of the most usefull addons over the years. Although Thunderbird can do calenders without it, it is still needed as only possibility to integrate Google Tasks in Thunderbird!
I would be happy, if there will be a working version for current TB141 and future versions.

Seit Thunderbird 141 ist es nicht mehr erforderlich, da Google-Kalender auch ohne Add-on jetzt unterstützt werden.
"Neuer Kalender" hinzufügen -> "Im Netzwerk" wählen -> als Benutzername die Gmail-Adresse eingeben (Feld "Adresse" leer lassen) und auf "Kalender suchen" klicken.

Please upgrade to be compatible with Thunderbird 141. In the meantime I've worked around the incompatibility by downgrading to Thunderbird 140 (download it from https://releases.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/140.0/), install it and then delete or backup the compatibility.ini file from your profile directory to bypass the version compatibility check which prevents you from downgrading (to play it safe make a copy of your profile directory just in case there is an issue).
