I too join the Nostalgy-for-3.1.chorus. Can't do Thunderbird without it. Also just made my first donation. :)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.24).

Is there a way to "manually" force Thunderbird 3 to install this Add-On?

Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't on my big, hairy, 2000-plug-folder tree. It saved me enough time that it was worth installing, even when I had to go manually "unread" subfolders it didn't catch.
