Pal, I was one step away from insanity. Sneaky, dirty advertisements like Williamhill, LiveJasmin, Adjuggler etc that I couldn't do anything about! The Fx's built-in is completely useless on this type of popups, while even the ABP's built-in popup functionality, couldn't do much! The required cookies could still penetrate and rotate my browsing onto those ads... Madness! Shame ( I dare to say shame on Fx ) in 2012 we still fall victims in such cheap tricks...
I installed this, I set it to 'Allow All' and I manually blocked the 3 known websites I occasionally visit which have this atrocity. No more cookies can penetrate and I don't even see the flashing effect, when a popup window is being blocked ( I disabled the relevant warnings ). Like nothing wrong is going on onto those sites... Truly solid job!

Suspend background tabs

In future, will this extension allow non-intrusive tabs in background to be working? ;)
Just kidding... So far no problem. It worked nice on a browser game I play. The game had been frozen and started normally again when I brought the tab in foreground.
When Taras will release his proper bugs about ( 715376 & 675539. ), this extension will remain relevant? Will still be needed?

The remaining code, is it based on version 2.0.3? I mean, you will be following fixes/bugs normally, right? Also, the pop-up blocker ( $popup ) works too? Actually, I'll try this one.
You removed the 2 features I really dislike. The non-sense new design and of course, the "Ensure Ads on an Ad-blocker". :S

Truly nice, but I'd really prefer every piece of code related to 'allow ads' to be completely removed. Just to turn off by default the evil, ain't enough in my opinion.
You install an addon while it supposed to block ads by default, and instead, you get an addon ( Ad Block Plus ) that ensures ads which paid the author of ABP will pass... Unexplainable madness, or rather... money wins every time.
