Only for Windows ? oh my god this is a discrimination !! ;) make it for Linux !

This add-on fixes a problem that occurs when you try to use Personas while using Windows with the "Windows Classic" desktop theme (see images). As far as I know there is no such bug to fix on Linux. Personas already works fine on Linux.

A problem for Thunderbird 3.1 is bug 569139.
Thunderbird 3.1 never shows the footer image.
Thunderbird 3.1.1 is expected to fix that bug.

This has been working fine for me in 3.6.*.

There is little to say about it. It works. Using Windows XP and the 'classic' theme, I now get a skinned or colored status bar when using personas.

Without this add-on, many personas are practically unusable for me. White text on my default gray window color simply does not work for me.
It is ridiculous that I need to use an add-on to get a skinned status bar. I hope that one day Firefox handles this itself.. no matter the OS theme.

Worked with my Firefox, now the footer part of persona is appearing. I'm using Win 2000 Professional. Although it seems like the add-on has made Firefox a little bit slower but that can be just my imagination

It does indeed work with Firefox 3.6, the fix is to go into the install.rdf file under your profile directory\extensions\this extension's GUID, remove dependency on the Personas add-on (since it is built into FF 3.6) and then remove the extensions.cache file from your profile directory and restart Firefox.

This isn't working on Firefox 3.6 (final), or is there something I am missing? The add-on has a red exclamation mark on it and there is text in the description that says: Requires additional items.

Am I missing something?

Please update requirements section in addon, it works also with new Personas 1.3
